The Local's newspaper, Solidarity, is the voice of our Local Union. Your elected officers use the newspaper as the vehicle to bring to you on a regular basis their views and results of their actions. This is done so that you as a member of this Local may stay informed and remain up-to-date in matters concerning our Local Union.

However, your input to the newspaper is needed to establish the two-way dialogue necessary for communication.

All persons wishing to place an article, letter to the editor or "good and welfare" in the Solidarity Newspaper should be aware of the following dead-lines.

Articles printed in the Solidarity Newspaper do not necessarily reflect the views of the U.A.W. or Local 1005. All articles are subject to review and editing as necessary. Local 1005 assumes no responsibility for an author's views, implied or otherwise.

You can mail, or drop off in person your newspaper articles to the Local Union Hall. Address them to the attention of the Solidarity Newspaper Editorial Staff.
